⚙️ Technical Health: Speed, Code, and Mobile Version

Google spends enormous resources crawling sites. Your domain gets a «crawl budget». If your site is slow — the bot leaves without finishing. We cover the 3 key factors.

The search engine is a business that spends colossal computational resources scanning millions of sites. For each domain Google allocates a certain «crawl budget» — a limit on bot time and server resources.

🎯 What happens if your site is slow: if your site loads in 10 seconds due to heavy scripts, unoptimized images, or slow database response — the bot just won't wait. It'll leave without indexing your new pages.

Technical health is the foundation of SEO. Without it, even perfect content and markup won't help.

1️⃣ Loading Speed — Core Web Vitals

The algorithm harshly demotes slow resources. Users don't want to wait.

📊 3 Key Core Web Vitals Metrics

🛠 How to Fix Speed — Practice

Test yourself: PageSpeed Insights (pagespeed.web.dev) — free, gives detailed recommendations.

2️⃣ Mobile-First Indexing

🎯 Main shock for business: today, for Google, the desktop version of your site no longer exists. The bot scans and evaluates your resource exclusively as it appears on a smartphone screen.

If on mobile your layout is broken and buttons overlap — you will never reach the TOP, even if desktop looks perfect.

📱 What to Check

Test yourself: Mobile-Friendly Test in Google Search Console.

3️⃣ Security — HTTPS

If the site doesn't use an SSL certificate and transmits data over an open protocol — Google will mark it as «not secure» and cut most of your traffic.

The browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) will show a red lock and a warning. The user will run before they see the content.

🎯 Good news: SSL certificates are now free. Let's Encrypt is the industry standard. Most hosting providers enable it with one click.
